Don`t Waste Your Money At HOB

I am in total agreement with all the negative statements made regarding HOB. I bought one...count `em - ONE - bridesmaid dress there and was amazed a the lack of accountability anyone would take when the ONE dress came in the wrong color after four months of waiting. The copy of the order I was given had no mention of color on it and I have to assume that`s what when to to the vendor. They even called me 6 weeks after I "ordered" the dress to confirm the color I wanted and they still got it wrong, but continued to tell me it was a "vendor error" when the wrong color came in. When I asked for the store manager`s name, I was given an elusive "Mrs. Beah". In this day and age of customer service, who doesn`t give out their first name? I was told they do not give out the full names of their employees. Forget full names, all I wanetd was a first name! Apparently, HOB managers double as CIA agents...

I was told the correction would be made (with no apologies) within a week. It took two weeks (and lots of me calling them- no follow up from them at all) and finally the thing came in. At the time I picked the correct dress up, no apologies were made and no accomodations were given. They even wanted $75 to hem the #$% thing!

Simply amazed me that no one wanted to help or take accountability for my mess- and mine wasn`t even as bad as some others I`ve read! I could have gotten better service at my local Goodwill store.
