Unique Gifts Ideas?

I have this friend who loves really modern things and gadgets. When I say “modern,” I mean in the retro sense. They got married last year and have finally been able to buy a new home, so they’re having a housewarming party over the Memorial Day weekend and I want to bring them something really funky and unique. Any ideas?
