Looking For Bustle Styles
I need help determining the style of bustle to apply to my dress. When my dress arrived at the bridal shop, it fit perfectly. It needed no alterations! I was very pleased about this bc I assumed it would mean I would be able to save on my alteration costs. So we proceeded to pin a gorgeous bustle. As I was walking out the door I asked the price of the bustle. The seamstress quoted $120!! After doing my research, I realize that is incredibly overpriced. And I believe they are trying to make up for the money they lost on me not needing any alterations. Unfortunately it is the only "bridal" shop in town. I have called other seamstresses, and they are all familiar with bustling, but most recommend bringing in a picture or having an idea of a style that I would want.
My dress is a sheath (form fitting) and I am petite. What style bustle should I go for?
Thanks,
Aya

Dear bustle-less
I find after alot of research that the french bustle is the best. It falls near the knee, and looks very classic. You can have your bustle done underneat, so you don`t see the ties at the back. You should have your seamstress put color coded ribbons for the bridesmaid who will bustle your dress to avoid confusion
Hope this hepls
