The Father Issue

I have a step father (who actually adopted me) who`s been in my life from when I was 10 to when he divorced my mother and kinda dropped out of my life for a while when I was 18.

Now it`s coming up on my wedding day (September 21, 2002) and I know a couple of things... 1) My mother is walking me down the aisle 2) my step father will be invited and have a boutinnere, and 3) I won`t be doing the father/daughter dance.

My fiance is really close with his mother and it would mean a lot to her to have the mother/son dance... But will it be weird when I don`t have a dance with my father... But he`s there?! Help.
