Congratulations Bella!
I am planning my first wedding too, its my seond marriage but my first wedding.
I am just learning as I go, but I have figured out that there are no rules! This is your special day and the only "must have" is one bride, one groom, and an officiant!
Location, size, colors, flowers, candles, etc is all up to you.
Once you and your fiance have the date set, the first thing you should do is figure out where you want the reception and book it, alot of places fil up a year in advance! Also, you should have a general idea of how many guests you want to attend, that will help with selecting the reception location.
I will be glad to talk to you more via email if you want to discuss wedding plans. I am having a really nice time, I`m planning mine so far in advance, there really isn`t much stress at the moment. (April 06)

Hi Bella,I got over the frazzled nerves and I`m getting married next month the 25th.First things first.Invitations...go online to invitation factory,there you will find hand made invitations with pressed flowers and loads of beautiful stuff.For EVERYTHING ELSE...JeanM essentials,when I say everything I do mean everything.All my favors and necessities came from here.Now another suggestion is go online and look up this wonderful wedding planner,it runs about $25 by Beverly Clark..."How to plan a wedding to remember".These have been my main staples.E-mail me with questions at lifsava@hotmail.com.

Hi, I know how you feel about your first wedding. I have a sister who is going to get married in 2007. I am going to be one of her bridesmaids.
You need to think about money, dresses, food and a lot of things at a wedding, but I think that your wedding will go fine!

I suggest going to www.theknot.com. It gives you a checklist of what needs to be done and when. Thats really all I used, I put on my own wedding and everything turned out perfectly. I highly recommend The Knot.
