A Poem For My Mother In Law To Be

I am getting married in September, I am looking for a poem for my mother in law to be. My mother past away several years ago and she has been the one that I have turned to for help or just when I needed someone to talk to. We do everything together. I want her to know how much she means to me. Could you please help.

Here are a couple of links that have poems for mothers in law, maybe something on one of these will work for you.
Good luck.

Virginia, this is what my D-in-L had inscribed for me:

You became my other Mother the day I wed your son,
And I just want to thank you ,Mom for the lovely things you`ve done. You raised in Love the gracious man with whom I`ll share my life. You are his lovely mother and I`m his lucky wife.

I think it`s a beautiful sentiment, and I consider her a daughter in every sense of the word. I hope that helps goodluck, and congratulations on your up coming wedding.

Hello maybe I can help and if you like I can put together for you more appropriately.

How do you say thank you to a Mother-In-Law who has
Been like the mother. I guess I try by saying, you have been like a red boat in clear blue water, standing out in those times of need. Like a Shining Star, A blossomed rose at the first of spring. You accepted me into your heart. I will thankfully accept you into mine. I love you and you are a constant inspriration in my life. As our marriage flourishes, I know you will always be a wonderful force in my life always.

Thank you Mom

Hi - This is one that I did in calligraphy for my mother in law when my husband and I married. I put our wedding date at the top

Today`s the day I take the name
Of the son that you have raised
And if I could tell you just one thing
It`s that you should be praised
Thank you for teaching him truth
Thank you for teaching him love
Thanks for being a Mother
Who looked to God above
The concern and care he shows me
Are things I prize in his life
It`s said if he honors his Mother
A son will honor his wife
So as we pledge our vows this day
To love and cherish each other
I`m honored to be the daughter in law
Of such a precious Mother!

Would be happy to calligraphy it for you so it is suitable for framing. Check out my site to see samples of the other things I have to offer.
