What Is Etiquettely Proper To Register For?
My friend says that I should not register for luggage, TV, DVD, VCR or any electronics, only household items. So what are the items I should definitely NOT register for?

Your friend is totally WRONG!
You should register for what you need and want. Nobody wants to buy a gift that someone really won`t appreciate or use, so register accordingly.
That`s the whole deal about registering. If a guest thinks a present would be inappropiate, too expensive, etc......
They don`t have to buy it! They can move to the next item on the list. For every item that someone skips, there is someone that will buy it!
There is no etiquette nowadays when it comes to registry.......you can even register for honeymoons now!

Register for what ever it is you want. If your guests find it too expensive to purchase themselves, they may go in on it together with other family or friends. Alternatively they may decide to give you money, and then you can go and buy these things yourselves. Best Wishes from a Bride of 1996.
