Depro Vera Don`t Do It

I started taking depro vera in febuary of this year. I was on it for 3 months. At the end of the 3 months I was getting really bitchy with everyone agrueing a lot, I gained 25 pounds and I would cry 6-7 times within 24 hours. A few days ago I started taking st. Johns wort and it has really helped me a lot. My doctor never told me any side effects when she put me on this. Now my doctor wants to put me on yasmine but i won`t start it until i find some information on that but i can`t seem to find anything at all. If anyone has any information on yasmine please share it with me.
