David`s Bridal

I’m a very unhappy bride to be on February 12, 2005 I purchased my wedding gown from David’s Bridal and was told that they would spot clean my dress, replace beads and steam it because I was purchasing the dress off the rack. April 13, 2005 I went in and paid for my dress in full and asked that the minor alternations be made and I would give them until May 07, 2005 to complete this. Upon going to the store on May 6, 2005 to pick up my dress I noticed that none of the minor alterations were done and that the dress had only been steamed and the crinoline had been removed from the dress. May 7, 2005 I went back to the store to speak with the manager and informed her that the crinoline had been removed and that my alterations had not been done. The store manage begin to yell at me in the store in front of other customers now she did apologize but I also got loud with her because I was not wrong the other store did confirm for me that the dress came with crinoline. Not only was I humiliated by the managers conduct my time was wasted by making three trips to the store I asked for a refund and was told that they don’t do refunds I would really rather have another dress for 520.00 I feel as my wedding day will not be complete because the beads have been cut away and the in some area the stitching is missing David’s Bridal did nothing to make me happy in fact they took the crinoline out of another dress and gave the dress back to me. Still the dress has not been repair to my taste or cleaned properly. This is what I call patch work and that’s not what I paid for my wedding is in July and I don’t feeling like the blushing bride wearing a patch work dress.

Linda- I too had a bad experience from David`s Bridal in Greenville SC luckily I did not purchase my gown there though. We went dress shopping this past weekend and i had an appt. The lady that registered me continued to mispell things on the sheet and when i asked if it would be easier for me to just fill it out for her - she snapped back that no, she would do it - then i was introduced to my "consultant" who showed me where the dresses in my sizes were and said she`d be back after i had found some. I had brought my mom and MOH with and she told me i needed to pick one of them to help me put on the dresses. I didn`t like the first one, she asked me about it and i said well, it`s okay and she says well let`s try on a veil w/ it and i said NO it`s just okay, i don`t want to see how it looks w/ a veil. So i try on the 4 dresses that i had picked out and felt that they all looked the same - she decided to go find me one based on the pic. Of the dress that i brought in. It looked NOTHING like what i wanted. Needless to say we left shortly thereafter. I`m sorry to hear you`ve had such a bad experience as well.

I ABSOLUTLY HATE DAVID`S BRIDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a dress during the sale back in January 2005, and my dress has something black rubbed up on it. If the dress is cleaned properly the light stain will come out. I wish, I could return my dress for a full financial refund. But I can`t b/c of David`s Bridal`s policy. Now I am stuck with a $599 dress that I will never were b/c I have found the dress of my dreams @ camillelavie.com . THIS DRESS HAS NEVER BEEN WORN OTHER THAN WHEN I TRIED IT ON. IT STILL HAS ORIGINAL TAGS AND IT HAS`T BEEN ALTERED.

If anyone would like to purchase this dress from me , it is FOR SALE :), for $500. As a gift I WILL COVER THE S&H IF YOU RESIDE IN THE U.S.

Dress description:
