Barn In Southern California

Do a search on "square dance" locations in the area you are looking to be married in. I`d start by calling those places that hold square dances (usually large, clean barns) and ask them if they rent out their facilities.

Another thought - place an ad in the local paper in the city you are planning to get married in and advertise that you are looking for a barn or similar structure for a wedding / reception. You might find a private citizen with a decent barn that would welcome you.
