PROBLEM FLORIST IN MIAMI

My daughter`s wedding was on March 19, 2005. I contracted with NATIONAL FLOWERS in Miami, and dealt with the proprietor, ELSA PEREZ. Our guests were all in their seats at church and this company`s employee was not even halfway through decorating. The church is not large so the decorations were not that substantial. But the florist started late and sent only one very slow employee. They did not send the flowers for the mothers to carry, were short one bridesmaid bouquet, were short one pomander for a flower girl, both floral crowns for the flower girls were completely wilted, the garlands for the church`s exterior railings were only placed AFTER the bride was in the church, the groom`s boutonniere, which was to match the bride`s bouquet (lilies of the valley), instead was exactly like all of his groomsmen`s boutonnieres, all of which fell apart at the church. At the reception, the centerpieces were so high that our guests could not see over them to speak to their tablemates across the table. We spent about $7000 on flowers and were very disappointed. Even worse, the florist, who is very aware of what happened, has not contacted us on the phone/letter/email to apologize, offer any refund for the items not received or made any attempt whatsoever to rectify this situation. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST.

I would suggest getting ahold of your better business bureau. Maybe they can help with something.
