How Much Alcohol?

I`m having an outdoor wedding with 500 guests that all love to drink. I was planning on having kegs of beer, cases of wine, and handles of hard alcohol. But does anyone know how much i should get of each? help?

Have you considered asking the caterer if they can set up a cash bar? you can give everyone two free drink tokens and if they want more than that, they can pay for thier own.

That would keep your cost down and would allow everyone to get what they wanted.

Go to the website www.chefmike.com he has a formula for that (it includes how much ice you should have too) and an actual head count (how many will actually show up......including those who don`t rsvp) i found his website VERY helpful when throwing my own reception
