Outdoor Wedding Fears

My finance and I would like to have our wedding and reception to all be outside (NJ). We found a place that has a covered patio and great food. We are having it from 3:30 to 9:00. My parents (and now me) are nervous that it is going to be too hot. Any suggestions? We really have our heart set on being outside that day.

My cousin rented a large fan that kept everyone cool at an August afternoon outdoor wedding in Texas. It did not make too much noise either. I would look into it.

Where in NJ did you get married? I`m looking for an outdoor venue and have had a lot of trouble finding one. Thanks

I am having it at the Stockton Inn, Stockton NJ (up to 120). There are 2 waterfalls on the outdoor covered terrace. The food is really good. Another very beutiful place is the Cuttalossa Inn - only has up to 100 people.
