I noticed to were having a pink and brown themed wedding and I am too! I was just wondering how you are going to match your bridesmaids to your groomsmen. I am having such a problem with that. Please help!! Thank you so much!

Suzanne, nice brown tuxedos are hard to come by so I would suggest you either look at having brown suits made or purchased. You can add ivory in as accent color and have the guys wear ivory tuxedos and do the pink shirt with the brown vest, and tie ensemble. Just a suggestion. There are many ways to make this theme work. I think the set up for your reception is great but in my opinon you should go with the white cloth or whatever color your dress is and do pink and brown on the table. You don`t want to have too much pink and then just a brown ribbon.

There are designers who make a pink dress with a brown trim and believe it or not some of the chocolate brown dresses out this season is hot. I personally would suggest you dare to be different. Have fun witht he color scheme. Weddings today don`t have to be the same and your originality is what will make your wedding the event of the year as long as it is done with taste.

Hi I am also doing a pink & chocolate theme. My bridesmaids are in chocolate dresses w/ pink bouquets. I also was worried about what the groomsmen would wear. My fiance only wanted black tuxes and veto`d the brown. I was concerned this would not look right until I went to a tux shop. In the store window was a black tux w/ a chocolate satin vest and a champagne colored shirt w/ a chocolate bow tie. It looked really sharp and ended all my worries. My groom is wearing a black tux w/ a champagne vest & bow tie w/ a ivory shirt. The tux shop put in on a mannequin to show me and it is very nice. Just wanted to share that since alot of people think you can`t wear black tuxes w/ brown.

I am planning a wine and chocolate themed wedding for march 2008. I thought the best colours to match these things would be brown and dark pink.

I would do a brown table cloth with a square piece of square fabric over it then put your center pieces on top. This will litten up the brown and make it feel like a summer wedding . Hope this helps from nacies weddings in snady ut. Just do a little square so it hangs over the edge of the table a little bit. Good luck

My daughter`s colors are cherry pink and chocolate brown . Her bridesmaids dresses are all different styles, but all in the cherry pink color. Some have ivory sashes or bows. The brides dress is ivory. Really need help in figuring out what color the bridesmaids shoes should be.
