Becoming A Weddin Planner
I am looking into colleges right now and beginning to figure out what I want to do with my life. I am really interested in becoming a Wedding Planner/Consultant. If somebody could e-mail the information on what it takes and what I need to become one, I`d totally appreciate it. Thanks. ~Cassy

Most wedding planners do not have a college education. I don`t believe it is needed.

Hello,
My name is Jessica Robinson, and I currently live in the DC metro area. I am interested in getting into event planning. I have some experience but not professionally. I helped to start a catering business with family, in addition to planning birthday parties, family reunions, weddings, showers, farewell parties and other events. I also enjoy making invitations and other stationery for parties and other functions. I enjoy doing this and am interested in starting a business or working for a business on and entry level to gain experience. If you have any helpful information for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi, I`m from St. Croix U.S.V.I.
Here there is not much wedding planners, so I would love to be one. Since the movie "The wedding planner" came out I had this passion for planning weddings. I am the mother of five kids and it is hard for me to go out and work, so I stay home with my kids on a $200.00 A month income. So I thought, what if I started my business on planning weddings? But have little experience and no money to start it. So I would like the best advice on how could I start. Would asking for a loan be a start?
