I have a list of what each of the gifts mean and it says the necklace symbolizes the religious expression of faith. And it is the protection of Jesus.

It`s sapposed to have her saint on it, and represent all the "test" she passed to reach her officially being welcomed into the Christian church as a woman, and is given to her by the priest.
