Electra Cruises Screwed Me And 25 Couples
If you are thinking of getting married aboard a yacht, DO NOT go with electra cruises! electra promised myself and 24 other couples their new yacht would be ready, took my deposit, canceled on me, and took over 3 weeks to get my deposit back!! PLUS, they accused me of being "inflexible" and "unaccomodating" to them!!! save yourself a headache and go with adventures at sea or fantasea.

You may have gotten screwed, however did you know the other couples??? 24 of them??? I am sure the company you are complaining about did not give you there information asI am sure it is priviledged informmation. Homeland security is tight out there. So unless 24 other couples complain on the same site I cannot take your complaint to heart.

Allison in the previous post is an employee at Electra. She really know nothing about Homeland Security and how it relates to boats, just pulled it out of her butt. A lot of people are getting screwed by the sales people at Electra who over promise and under deliver.

I too, was screwed by Electra! I paid for a 4 hour block of time for my wedding/reception and received only 2 hours of the most discourteous service I`ve EVER received after giving someone close to $9,000 of my hard earned money. The yacht was not only on the other side of the harbor when my guests started to arrive, but it also had mechanical difficulties AND was not properly set-up or decorated when I finally was allowed to board. Needless to say, Electra Cruises ruined my one and only wedding day and still has not responded to my multiple requests for a refund. I have had to resort to taking them to arbitration, and possibly claims court. I don`t know what happened to any other couples, but my story is VERY true!
