I am the free of charge wedding planner for my two Christian friends wedding. They have a very limited budget. I have many ideas for you. I am typing all of the info for them and would be happy to e-mail you a copy within the next couple of days.
You can e-mail me at Laurelcrowned@msn.com and give me your phone number or your e-mail address and I will e-mail you my phone number. Please respond directly to my e-mail address so that your phone number won`t be broadcasted for every browser. I can call you and we can discuss at length ideas for the wedding. The most helpful thing I did to help my friends plan their wedding was to buy a good wedding planning book with all of the details of what needs to be done for a wedding. You can probobly get one at a Public Librairy as well. I will be praying for you and your friends. I know God will give them the desires of their heart and a beautiful cost efficient wedding with friends like you to help them plan it.

Blessings from a sister in Christ,
Lauren

Not to be rude, but why should people want to help your `on fire for christ friends` with donations more than they would want to help anyone? Why should donations be solicited for a wedding?
I`m sure most of us could use help, it doesn`t mean we would beg for it. Advice is one thing, but this crosses a line.

I knew what you meant by Brother & Sister in Christ. Don`t worry about those that don`t.
BUT-I have to agree with those that are flaming you for soliciting donations. Not a very Christian thing to do, in my opinion.
I also know what you mean by `doing it the right way`.
But, you must know that no matter how `right` anyone is doing it, they still have to pay their own way. We all do, so, why shouldn`t they?
Brides-to-be get pretty stressed out & frustrated in their preps for their wedding in that they don`t have a lot
Of money to throw around & must get the most bang for their buck! So, to come on here & try to get someone to `sponsor` this wedding is an insult. Why on earth would you think that any of us would have money, stuff, etc., to throw your way? If we did, we wouldn`t need these websites to get money saving ideas & tips on where to get things at a reasonable cost.
If you want someone to donate something, how about going to friends of the couple & asking them to donate their time, not money. That would go over a LOT better!
You must be new at all of this or you would NEVER have dared to come on a wedding message board & ask for this.
You need prayers-but, for DIFFERENT reasons!
Good Luck!

You know Cindy you are right, when I first found out that they were getting married I was so excited I was just rush rush but God spoke to me this morning before I even checked my e-mail and told me that I didn`t need to do that because he would supply everything that they needed. So please forgive me for sounding like a soliciter when requesting donations, God is the Source and he will supply.

Jasmine, you should not keep beging for money, let them save them up, the money you are asking for could be used for the needy people not for a wedding so just let them save money i think they work don`t they???
