Is Jacques Doumani Talent Agency Legit?

I know the Doumani`s , I dated one of the sons and after I found out about the scams the familly runs I put and end to it. Yes they will ask you for money up front ! And its for a portfolio. I would not recomend them as a credible resource! Roxanne Doumani has never had a top model or any new stars born That I know of and I have known them for many years.

Please disregard the message from the angry ex-girlfriend. Doumani is a great agency to introduce your child to the industry. Any agency you bring your child to will ask to see their portfolio. It is a necessary tool if you`re serious about modeling or acting. If you are unsure if you want to spend the money on photos, then just enroll you child in the classes. Pictures can be expensive and need to be updated often. I personally was in the Doumani modeling classes in 1995 and have made a fair share of money. Roxanne personally drove me to several auditions in Los Angeles as well. I hope this can be of any help. Good luck to you and your child.

Don`t want to sound like an angry x-girlfriend, Check for a business licence and go from there, Roxanne was employeed by John Robert Powers and they got into some trouble. Just be shure!

The only thing I know is that they have been at that location for a very very long time. I don`t know if that means anything though...

LOL @ What Vanessa wrote. I totally agree. Christina is just a disgruntled ex girlfriend who feels the need to ransack the agency. My grandmother has been a client of one of the Doumani`s for a while, and I know that they are SCAMLESS!!! they are heaven sent and can work wonders with any situations at hand. CHRISTINA- A word of advice, build a bridge and GET OVER IT GIRLFRIEND!!! How do you expect to move on to a happy future when you keep trailing around the luggage of the past???

OKAY Christina- so after getting my hair done and sitting around with everyone at the salon/agency for a few hours, I`ve been able to gather a few detailed bits of information that may help future clients cure their curiosity.

First things first- You were a disgruntled ex girlfriend and felt the need to come in here and vent and whine about your bitter break up and attempted to deteriorate the families business... You dated one of the SONS which has nothing to do with the business at hand ;) Not to mention that the comments have stopped on your behalf because YOU ARE BACK WITH THE DOUMANI SON lol...

Second- The agency is as legit as legit can get. Roxanne is a MAJOR business woman! She`s the most legit person you will EVER find on the face of the Earth. She is a mentor to many! Her agency is CLEAN, and they respect you. They treat you as though you are family rather than some "model" trying to come up in the world. The atmosphere is ridiculously wonderful!!! I couldn`t surround myself with better people.

THIRD- All these comments should and will be deleted so it doesn`t do further damage to a completely legit business that you for some reason felt the need to attempt to crash!

FOURTH- You should probably think twice before you go on a rampage babbling about stuff in the future considering it only comes to backfire at you ;)

THE DOUMANI SALON, AND THE DOUMANI AGENCY IS EXCELLENT. I RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE WITH AN INQUIRING MIND GO AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF DESPITE WHAT THIS LITTLE GIRL HAS POSTED... THE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU WITH THE MOST GENTLE AND CARING WAYS AVAILABLE TO HUMAN KIND...

In California, all talent agencies must be specially licensed by the California Dept. Of Labor.

The DLR has a website where you can find the license status of talent agencies. If they`re not on it, they`re not licensed!
