Out-Of-Town Guest Gathering?

How about a wishing well?

Where ever you decide to have your out of town guests gather, you can ask the staff to set up a decorated bucket or basket with a pen and paper on the side, so while you and your family are at the rehearsal dinner, the other guests can write their wishes and messages to you and your groom and drop them in the wishing well. You can read them later on that night or at the reception the next day.
