Cheap And Beautiful Centerpiece Or Favor Idea

Like most of you I have fitlered through websites, books, magazines, and countless wholesale dealers. I am planning this wedding by myself and know other brides-to-be can relate to the stresses of trying to create this magical scene on a tight budget. I saw these silver plastic mint julep cups used on a display at a bridal show and thought they were beautiful. I expected they would be inexpensive since they were not made of real silver. My problem was I could not find them anywhere, so I called the company on the bottom. They were able to sell me alot for a discount. Now I only needed 200 of them and had alot left over. I decided that I could sell the extra on e-bay for extremly cheap. I think when you find a good deal you want everyone to know about it. I am using mine as accent pieces for the tables by filling them with 4 or 5 gerber daisies. At the bridal show they had wrapped candy favors with colored tulle and dropped them in the cup, letting the top of the tulle stand above the cups rim a couple of inches. The same booth had a table set up with the cup in the center with roses filling it and tea light candles surrounding the cup.(It was beautiful) Everything gets marked up so much when you attach the word wedding to it and these are inexpensive enough to look like you spent alot when you didn`t have to.
