Placement Of Wedding And Engagement Rings
Ok, I know this may sound stupid, but I want everything done right on our wedding day. Can someone please tell me, which ring goes on first on the ring finger, my fiance says the wedding band, then the engagement. But I want to make sure.

The wedding band goes on first (reasoning - it`s closer to the heart). At your wedding - have a bridesmaid (or maid of honor) wear your engagement ring and get it from her after the wedding (or at least after the ring part of the wedding). Many blessings for your wedding and marriage!

I put my engagement ring on my right hand and then switched it over after we walked down the isle. That way you don`t have to give it to someone else that could lose it.

When I got married the priest told me not to wear any rings on that finger. Once the wedding ring is one, it should never come off, so the wedding ring is first!

You put the engagement ring on your right hand or if a set give it to your fiancee and he can join it with your wedding band. The wedding ring goes closer to your hand and then the engagement ring. If you choose to wear your engagement ring on your right hand that day, you can switch it back over to your left hand after the wedding ring is in place

When I got married, the priest told me not to wear any rings. Therefore, since I never take my wedding ring off, my wedding ring goes first.

Dont you take the rings off to shower?
I`m afraid they will slide off and go down the drain.
Oh...and the wedding band definately goes on first.
