Looking For A DJ & Photographer, HELP

I am having our wedding in Santa Cruz, so being out of the area, having a hard time locating several of good vendors. When they hear that i am from out of town, they rake me with pricing. HELP. Simple is what we want, this is not getting through to anybody. Thanks
