I`m 14 and my quinceanera is this year in November! I`m excited, I`m going to have chambelanes only. Sorry about your dad. Well the songs are easy just buy a cd that has quinceanera songs. My dress color is going to be white and pink. You can chose any color that you want like peach, baby blue, lila, gold, or any other color. For the vals w/ the father and daughter you can dance with your mom. I`m going to dance w/ both. Or if you want you can dance w/ the closest uncle, like you said. Hope I helped.

The 1st and my colors are white and baby pink i have 14 girls and guys and they are mostly my friends and some are my sisters and one is my cousin.sorry about your dad you could dance with an uncle.or the closet family member you have.the songs aren`t that hard you have the basic four songs you and your 24 girls and guys or just guys will dance.some people only do 3 songs its up to you. 1 is the entrance song where they entrodouce all your 14 people and the second is the waltz and the third is the father and daughter dance and the fourth some people do or don`t do it is the surprises dance for example the song a lot of people are using for that is gasolina by daddy yankee. I am sorry to hear about your father. You may have an uncle stand in, one that is close to you. If your father has a brother, that would be nice to use him. You can even use an older brother. You should have a picture of your father at the ceremony and honor him in some special way. Maybe when you do the candle lighting ceremony (if you are having that) you can play a song of loved ones gone in spanish and have your mother and you light a candle that he would have lit for you. As for the people in the ceremony, you should have people not only that are close to you, but whom will not let you down. My friends are black and white and they don`t understand my Dominican Republic side so it was very hard to get them to be serious about the ceremony and dance, having them pay for their gowns and tux`s. I decided to go it alone and have nothing but guys in it. We are doing a dance and I will have 10 guys dancing in a circle around me and my escort. It is going to be nice. You can have as many as you like but it really should be someone you can trust to do what needs to be done and be there when you need it. The practicing for the waltz is extensive and it should flow in a certain order so it looks like you are floating and not just dancing. Don`t be nervous, you are going to be beautiful and you will have a great time. No matter what, get enough rest. I hear that this is like the night before a Bride gets married. You are so excited that you don`t get enough sleep but you will need the rest. Good luck and God Bless.

Where do you live at? Well, the kind of music I`m having is normal, like chilenas, corridos, and a little of everything else. I`m having a Banda and they are called " Banda Natividad" or something like that. I`m having DJ too. He is called " DJ`s B.E.E REAL." Well for the dresses, mi madrina is taking me to L.A on Sat. Well the banda costs 1,400, I think. I don`t remember. Well for the Video & Photography, my madrina has a brother who is a proffecional on that and I don`t know what his name is, he charges 800 or something like that.
