David`s Bridal

I had recently purchased my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses at David`s (Brookfield, WI) I am not sure which horror story you want to hear first....

I put my dress on layaway and paid 2 payments within 4 weeks. I had one payment left of about $100. A woman called me and told me to bring in my shoes and try on the dress on a weekend. So, I TOOK OFF OF WORK and took my shoes and went. When I got there a RUDE lady told me that I couldnt try my dress on, because it wasnt fully paid for. I asked her why the woman who madew the appt. For me didnt tell me that, and she had NO ANSWERS. I paid for my dress and picked it up. Beads were missing, there was a stain on it and the bussel hadnt been put in, like I requested. When I confronted a lady at the counter about this she said "When you bring it to get pressed they will fix it" - EXCUSE ME? I want 1/2 my money back, and I am not coming back here for ANYTHING! Now, I am stuck going back to get the bussel put in anyways....

My bridesmaids all found a dress and ordered it. The 1st bridesmaid that went in to pay was told `I am sorry but this dress is discontinued` I was immediately called and notified by my Maid of Honor. I called in screaming and after speaking with 2 people was told that if they wanted that dress, they had 24 hours to get in and pay for it. Who can come up with $200 in 24 hours, when you were told you have 2 weeks to come up with it? All my bridesmaids had to rush in and pay, and they are not happy either. When I go in to get my bussel, I am asking for a Manager and some money back! David`s is horrible, and I will NEVER refer them to anyone!
