Wedding Color Help

I recently got engaged on Christmas 2004. We have recently set a date for March of 2006. I`m having a hard time deciding what colors that I would like to have. I would love to do light pink accents and ribbons with frostly blue bridesmaid dresses. I bought these two color of ribbons just to compare how they looked together and everybody says it looks like baby shower colors. I really like pink and blue but I don`t want it to look tacky but using hot pink or anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - Jessica
