Depo Side Effects

My name is kristina. I am 28. Iwas on depo for 1 year and within the 1st 2 months i had gained 35 lbs and before i ended it i gained another 30. I was 250 lbs to begin with and have had a hell of a time getting the weight off. I had to have open heart surgery a year ago and that`s making it even harder to lose the weight. I would not recomend this to anyone who is over 200 lbs.my friend also gained 50 lbs on it. I`ve been off it now for 3 months and i`m just now getting my 1st period in over a year. Now i have to just use condoms ,which i don`t trust 100%, because of my heart and all the bad side effects from contraceptives.
