June, the pale purple is fine, but you should also use another shade of purple or several shades. It makes the rest of your decor much easier than if you were trying to match one shade. Also a sage green would look nice with that. I also think you can`t go wrong with some nice crisp white mixed with it, it will really set the colors off,(ribbons,pearls,candles,etc.) Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other ???`s.
