About Morgans Bead Co.
Morgan’s Bead Co is no longer a well kept secret in west Houston. The store, in operation for a year and a half, has slowly flourished with minimal advertising and a lot of old fashioned “word of mouth” referrals from our dedicated and enthusiastic supporters and “beading buddies”. Founded by 30 year old Monica Napuli Dixon (originally from Galveston, Texas), she spent many weekends at Bead Shows and designing jewelry for herself and friends before she and her husband decided to take the plunge and open a bead business named after their daughter Morgan.

In addition to selling beads MBC hosts monthly Designer’s Bead Shows. In these shows you will find the latest and most trendy hand picked “Baubles” in season. Our customers create pieces from the hottest designer-themselves! Best of all these strands of semi-precious stones and pearls are priced at wholesale.

We are always doing something at MBC and consider our store “not your average bead store”. Some of the custom services and events we host include: repairs and re-stringing including pearls, instructional classes with nationally recognized teachers, Queen Beading Bee Nights (offered in the Summer), our bi-annual Grand Bead Trunk Show, wedding jewelry consultation, individual design assistance, Ladies Night Out beading socials, our monthly “Bead and Breakfast”, “Beadtopia” which is our custom beading and social event which includes a catered meal, and of course, birthday parties. Beadazzled Belle’s
Beadazzled Belle’s will design a necklace complete with a charm. Birthday Girl will be given a complimentary Crown to wear on this special day. In addition, party guest will receive plastic high heeled shoes to wear for the red carpet entrance on the day of the party. Pizza, juice box, bead project, dedication page, paper products, Balloons, Favor Bags, and necklace assembly included in cost. The maximum capacity for a Beadazzled Belle Party is 10 and last for 2 hours. A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. Ages 6 and under.
COST $27.50 per person

Junior Jewel Box
Juniors will have a fabulous fun time creating unique beading projects at Morgan’s Bead Co. Junior Jewel Box parties last 2 hours, which include beading project of choice, dedication page, balloons, instruction, and time for cake and food. A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. Perfect for Birthdays! The maximum capacity for a Junior Jewel Box party is 10.

Beadtopia
Fun filled creative night at Morgan’s Bead Co. Party goers will design a trendy necklace with pendant in a designers atmosphere and enjoy a yummy meal while our staff assembles your creation. Beadtopia parties last 3 hours, maximum capacity of 10 and are great for ladies nights out, birthdays, bridal showers, corporate parties, or baby showers. A $75.00 non refundable deposit is required to reserve a date.
COST $40.00 per person-fee includes necklace assembly and pre-selected findings, beads/pendant are by choice and not included.
Menu Choices:
#1) Chicken/Beef Fajitas, chips and salsa, guacamole, ice tea and a petite dessert.
#2) Deli Sandwich, Potato Salad, Vegetables with Dip, ice tea and a petite dessert.
MBC prefers Beadtopia to be held the 1st or 2nd week of the month.

Queen Beading Bee
QBB is offered during the summer complete with refreshments to top the night and focuses on Boutiques Style Projects and “GoodTimes”. Last year our Beaded Flip Flops were hot!
DESIGNER TRUNK SHOW

1st weekend of every month we host a Designer Trunk Show come early and pick out the latest most trendiest baubles in beads.

Do not miss this! We bring in strands and strands of beads. Priced from just $1.50. You will find beads such as Peruvian Opal to Green Garnet plus many, many more.
