How To Ask Bridesmaids

I am getting married in October 2005, and want a special and creative way to ask my 3 sisters and 1 future sister-in-law to be my bridesmaids. I also want 1 freind to be an honored guest. Does anyone have any ideas to make this something special and that they won`t forget?

Send each of them a small gift with a personalized card asking each of them to be part.

You could invite your friends to a very fancy champagne lunch and present each girl with a single rose, tell her why she means so much to you and ask her to be a bridesmaid. I do have one question.......what is an honored guest????

I too am looking for a creative way to ask bridesmaids. How about mailing hints to special friends that live a ways away?

Hello,

I just asked my five best friends to be bridesmaid. I took them to dinner and had custom fortune cookies that said, " We would be honored if you would be our bridesmaid" It was awesome the look on their face was great. If you like I can give you the website where I got the cookies from. The waiter brought out the cookies, it was great. Let me know.
