30th Wedding Anniversery

My sisters and I are planning a 30th Wedding Anniversery for my parents. We are trying to get some ideas, as to what other people have done for their own or for someone elses Anniversery. Your input is valued. Hope someone can give us some ideas.

Hi Miranda,
I would like to ask you a couple of questions in order for me to help you.
1. What are your parents into?
2. What type of party do you and your sister want for your parents?
3. Do you guys want a theme party?
4. Are your parents doing anything for their 30th anniversary (like a cruise or some type of vacation)?
Let me know and I`m sure I can help you.

Hi Miranda,

My mom is Chinese and my dad is Caucasian---my siblings and I threw a 25th anniversary party at an upscale Chinese Restaurant--there was a 9-course dinner planned---the theme of course was Chinese--favors were a Chinese soup spoon filled with candy and netting around it (or a fan or chopsticks are good ideas too). The centerpiece was an orchid plant and a bottle of Seagram 7 (believe me, it is a Chinese thing). We had two guys playing soft music in the background. We had a small wedding cake--had them renew their vowels, first dance, and cutting of the cake at the party. We had 15 tables for 150 people. The theme was also appropriate because they had a wedding reception and 1-month honeymoon in China 25 years ago. Using your parents` ethnicity or place of the marriage or honeymoon are good theme ideas.

Allow me to address your invitations in calligraphy. Or maybe write out your wedding vows - or what about place cards for that formal dinner reception???

Over 15 years experience. Come to my website and check out my samples. I would love to hear from you!
I will ship anywhere in the U.S.

My husband`s parents just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and I did a poem for them in calligraphy about being married for 50 years. We framed it and it was the PERFECT gift!!!
