THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE

I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS DONE BUSINESS WITH THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE OUT OF OKLAHOMA CITY? THE ONLY REASON I ASK IS BECAUSE I READ THE POSTS ABOUT TRISHA`S BRIDAL, WHICH IS THE SAME KIND OF BUSINESS AS THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE (REMAKES DESIGNER GOWNS FOR CHEAP). IF ANYONE HAS HAD ANY EXPERIENCES WITH THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD, PLEASE LET ME KNOW- I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING USING THEM TO MAKE A DRESS FOR EM AND I DON`T WANT TO GET SCAMMED LIKE THE OTHERS WHO USED TRISHA`S BRIDAL.
THANKS SO MUCH!

She is totally cool, she will work with you and is very quick to respond. If you need references for her company she is more than willing to give them.

I would be very skeptical, if I was you.

I am in the process of working with her right now myself. We are trying to get some details on a dress. She is an open book, really. If you have any questions, ask her. I am a very cautious person myself, and believe me I asked her so many questions, I`m sure she got sick of me, but she was patient and answered every one. Really just contact her and make your own educated decision about her yourself.

Thanks Candice:

But I am thinking now that I made a terrible mistake of identity here....I have sensed a bit of unprofessionalism from the vendor who signes her name as BB not Stephanie....(I confused the two BB`s in the company name)

The gal I am referring to is in NY, sorry!

I have seen alot of bashing by her to other vendors here, and I would not do business with someone that way...totally unacceptable.....

My take is if you pay to be a vendor then be one, do not come here to insult or hurt others businesses....

Just a consumer point of view, please do not cut this thread to shreds. Us brides come here for professional help.

She works with sasa bridal that scammed a few brides on ebay. They paid for the dress and it was never shipped. My friend lost over $600 with them. So Candice if I were you I’d go back and ask a few more questions. I asked "beautiful bride" to mail me pictures of their version of the gianna gown and it was the same exact dress that sasa bridal sent me pictures of from china.

Please use a real name, not this hidden identity BS
Also opinions do not help brides from scammers, facts do!

I actually ordered my gown with bargain bride, after contacting Debbie as well (her price was just out of my budget). And I did my research and contacted her because of high recommendation from a few brides on the knot.

Amanda & Candice, just ask the questions that you need to be safe

All the best on your planning

Sasa has been known to "borrow" photos. They took some of mine ( my goods, taken by ME in MY studio using MY backdrop) and posted them on a website. When I wrote them and asked them to take them off, they got smart with me and said the photos were theirs. They also dared me to send "proof" they were mine.
So, I doubt this lady took their photos, it was probably the other way around.

I worked with Stephanie from Beautiful Bride and she was wonderful. I got a dress that was exactly what I wanted and it was beyond my expectations. It is hard to put your faith (and money) into something sight unseen but if you want a great gown with all your specifications I would go with Stephanie.

I am also interested in using The Beautiful Bride site to order my dress (I fell in love with the Gianna dress but couldnt afford the designers $4000 asking price). Does anyone have any information on the quality of the dresses that are made by TBB? I have had some bad experiences in the past with online sites and want to make sure I have all the info before I order.

Amanda,
I`m in the same boat. Well, almost. I`d like to know more about The Beautiful Bride but what I`ve seen so far seems promising.
I emailed TBB on Saturday at midnight and received a reply by Sunday morning. Impressive! Stephanie offered support and attached a size/how to measure chart. From what I gather they custom design all of their dresses anyway. The photos posted are obviously homemade and I can tell the fabric is a bit different but still just as beautiful.
Stephanie appears to be very professional and straight forward.
My main problem is I`m a horizontally and vertically challenged :-) Let`s just say I`m not a size 8 and I`m not in my 20`s anymore. Most of the bridal fashions seem to cater to this profile. Ironically, I couldn`t have afforded my choice of dress when I was in my 20`s.
I had already planned to have my dress custom made when I happened upon TBB website. I had visited 5 bridal shops and the dresses I was remotely interested in would have had to been altered within a inch of their life! I still wouldn`t have gotten what I wanted. Altering doesn`t always work and quite often warps the original design.
My choice of wedding dress is Justina McCaffrey inspired. The Justina McCaffrey website has been out of order for weeks and all of my emails have gone unanswered. Several bridal shops have tried to get the dress I want without success. So, I guess in my case it`s not about the money.
By the way...Why not use the internet? That`s the way I found the groom, earned my degree, found 6 teaching jobs and my new house. The Internet rocks. (Can you tell I`m a computer teacher?)
I`m getting married on June 24th.
I`d be happy to keep you posted.

I am organizing a joint lawsuit against THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE in Oklahoma. I paid Stephanie thousands of dollars for my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses. She cancelled the order two weeks before it was due for delivery and did not refund all of my money. If you or anyone you know had a similar experience and would like to participate in the suit, please contact me at mara@bitproductions.net by Sep. 30.
