Response Card

Do you mean:

1. You are making reply cards (as the bride) and want to provide a line for "# of people coming"?

Or,

2. You are responding to an invitation and want to write how many will be attending on the reply card?

With the first question, it`s not customary to put a "#s" line--usually there`s a line like this

M____________________

And you are supposed to write the names of all persons attending on that line (assuming that they have all been invited of course!).

If you are the respondee, the invitation should state clearly who is invited--you? a guest (or not), children (or not). If, say, children or a guest are NOT on the invitation, then you may not write them in or invite them yourself on a "number of persons" line.

Does that make sense? I`m no expert, but that is what Emily Post said in her book....
