Wedding In Jamaica
We are planning to be married in Montego Bay, Jamaica on October 19, 2005. Staying in the Sandals Resort and are looking for a good photographer. The wedding pictures are separate from the package, but it sounds pretty good. They will video the ceremony for $200 and give us 36 pictures, negative and wedding album for $380. Anyone had this done or how does this sound? We really don`t have a lot of money to spend on pictures. Most of the freelance photographers want you to pay for their airfare and/or lodging, plus the cost of the pictures.

How did you end up doing your photos? I am getting married in Jamaica on Nov 15. How was the Sandals resort. We are staying at the Royal Carib.

The Sandals Resort is lovely. You will enjoy it. The Royal Caribbean is nice but a little more laid back than Sandals Montego Bay. You can eat and drink as much as you want and just sit back and enjoy the ocean. There is always something to do though. We did notice that they do have a lot of activities at the Sandals Royal Caribbean. We ended up spending quite a bit of money for the pictures, but they did a beautiful job. The ceremony and the reception were videoed and they took a lot of pictures. They give you sets of 12 plus the wedding album and CD of the pictures (5 x 7). Watch out you can end up spending more than you want to. I would recommend Sandals to anyone getting married. They do everything for you. Just eat, drink and have your credit card ready.
