Let`s be honest here - Discount Bridal Service "sellers" DO NOT get the gown staright from the manufactures! They do order them but thru 2nd or even 3rd parties who order them from the designers.

Yes they do offer dicounts of 20-40% off the MSRP but they do not have the direct contact with the designers. Call any designer and ask them if the DBS seller is an authorized seller and they will say no!!
I am not saying all DBS sellers are bad but since they do not have any inventory for you to see or try on, many do not offer services like storage ,alterations, or pressing of the gowns, the savings that you do save on the gown is then taken away on the other end.

Many times DBS dealers "suppliers" known as "transhippers" arent able to get the dresses orders for them and guess who losses - You the bride!

So do the math - look at the what these DBS sellers really offer and compare them to a the FS bridal stores who are authorized sellers of many gowns who DO order directly from the designer - not from 2ns or 3rd middleman!!

Dear Real Vendor:

Please show your REAL name next time! Let me guess your a bridal shop owner....well sorry to tell you, we offer direct from the manufacturers from our Maryland office, the manufacturers are very good to us, our relationship with most of them goes back 20 years, since our beginning.

We are able to give brides personal service, whether local or not....After a bride has shopped til they dropped they look for all options, and since we are highly recommended in many published books, brides seek our services, and why should`nt they! Who wouldn`t want to save money! Brides love us and our service...remember DBS is a personal buying service for brides, not a shopping service!!

So please leave your negative comments to yourself, you are slandering my business and I really dont appreciate it at all....I dont go slamming snobby shop owners, that would be unprofessional!! You are incorrect in many of your statements. I work very hard to get the best deal for brides!

Do not even bother to answer back -- I would like to keep this board positive for the brides....we don`t need this here!

So they don`t order from the manfacturer? Do you mean that I could be ordering my wedding gown from someone who has no bridal knowledge or connections other than this network?
