Wedding Planners, Yes Or No?

Should I use a wedding planner or not? I watch who`s wedding is it anyway on the style network and they seem so bossy and mean. I`m not sure if they would make my life easier or harder. Any opinions?

I think real life wedding planners are less controlling, I love that program too, but I don`t think the planners they feature are true to life representations. If I were having a huge wedding and spending $15K, $20K....I would definitely hire a wedding planner. My wedding will be small but we are planning something very opulent, so I am seriously considering hiring a wedding planner to handle things (and people) on the day of the wedding.
