Sweet Sixteen Party

I am trying to come up with a real different sort of thing for my 16th birthday. I want to invite about 25 mostly girls to NYC, I live in the burbs. And do something safe but fun, for example I was going to rent an audio recording studio and record all of us singing from a kareokee thing. A dance party isn`t very interesting. Any ideas? thanks

How about a make-over party? Have a Mary Kay representative come to your party. She could do the facial and make over on the birthday girl and the rest of the guests can do themselves or pair off and do each other. I have some themed party supplies that would support this type of party. If you wanted to give you guests a little attendance present I can make up cute little treat bags with beads, makeup, nail polish, etc.
