Amy Michelson Ballet Or Design Inspired Asap

Hi - I got the ballet knockoff in a size 6 on ebay for $300 - i am really little and the size 6 JUST fits me so you might not want a size 4 - but anyway - i got it from chic bridal and i love it!!!

I found a wonderful ballet knock off in a perfect size 4. It fits as though it was made just for me. I am having it altered in style a hair because I am so picky but it could be worn just as is it`s great- thanks for all the help to everyone who suggested things to me. Here`s what I am trying to decide now. I have hair to top of bra strap and want to wear it down- wavy and romantic. I am debating veil or no veil. I am having an outdoor wedding. I am struggling to decide what kind of veil if any would look best with mid to long hair and with that dress. I don`t want anything to take away from the stunning back of that dress. Any suggestions, anyone?

Hi - i responded earlier about the ebay dress from chic bridal and i have the same dress and am getting married in Fiji. I have super long hair and am going to pin it up all over sorta messy (I am really low-maintenance) with loose curls hanging down (it will be up enough to see tha back of the dress but still hanging) and then i am putting fresh flowers in my hair to add color - just a suggestion!! I think a veil would take away from the dress and a veil is more church-like anyway - just my opinion!!

Hi Ladies, I am also extremely interested in this dress. The size 10 for me perfect but a size 8 might as well, due to the nature of the lace-up back.

To AMY, yes, definitely wear your hair down and flowy! This dress is very flowy and your hair should match. No veil, I don`t think it would look right, unless you can get one made of the same silk chiffon as the dress!

To RENEE, I am also a crazy eBayer and was thinking of buying it from chicbridal as well! They don`t have my size at the moment though. How was your experience and how long did it take to make? Did you buy white or ivory, and can you describe the shade? I want diamond white (a little off-white). How does the size 6 fit you? May I ask you your street size? I bought mine off ebay too from Chic Bridal. I bought an Ivory size 4. My experience was good. I was very concerned about there being no returns. It wasn`t exactly as I expected. I really wanted white but they didn`t have any. The ivory came and I had to try it on a few times before it grew on me. It wasn`t as wonderful as I hoped it would be but for the price i have no room to compain. I am having the back altered slightly. I am very short torsoed and so with the button portion at lower back it doesn`t plunge as much as I would like. Overall, I would say the transaction was smooth. I would advice to anyone buying that they run small. I wear a size 4 but if I gain more than 5 lbs this won`t fit. Great incentive to stop eating snacks after dinner.
