Hair Down With A Strapless

I`m planning to wear my hair down with my strapless dress. It shouldn`t matter what anyone else says - if you are comfortable with that hair style, you are the one that has to wear it all day!!

I`ve got long hair and wore it down with a straplees dress for my wedding. Everyone told me how beautiful it looked. Why would anyone say not to? Doesn`t it make more sense to not wear your hair down if you DID wear straps? It could possibly get tangled or snagged in the straps? Or, it could all just be too much....Whatever. You should wear your hair however YOU want to. You`re the one who has to be comfortable, and if you don`t feel comfortable, you won`t look comfortable.

I have a strapless too, and I also think I`m going to wear my hair down. Its not decided yet, but I like to be more au natural. :-)

The person who will be doing my hair suggested putting it up, but when I said I might like it down, she didn`t say anything about a rule that says I really ought to wear it up....

I say wear it down if that`s what you`d like...

You could style your hair and try the dress on once with it down to ake sure you like the look...just in case.

I have heard that if you have a wonderful design or beading on the back that it will look nicer as it shows off the back of your gown but who cares. A good Photographer will take pictuers and put your hair over one shoulder for a sexy pose (the loooking over the shoulder pose) and still capture the back of the gown. No matter what, do what feels comfortable for you!

My daughter had planned on wearing her`s up though her husband wanted it down, and even went for a trial run. It looked pretty (but I love her hair down but didn`t want to interfere). She wasn`t wearing a veil, only a tiara with a strapless dress. When we went for her final fitting and she was up there in front of all the mirrors and her hair was down. Her MOH went and got her tiara and she put it on. I said I love the tiara with your hair down The MOH said "they say sometimes you should go natural" Well, she decided to have it down, the girl who did it said she is so glad she decided to do it down, because she thought it looked nicer too. It really doesn`t matter how you wear it...just keep in mind what season you are getting married in. If it`s the middle of summer it might be more comfortable to wear it up because of the heat. It`s just a thought.
