Divine Light Photography
I used Divine Light photgraphy (recommended on this site) for my wedding last June. I was extremely satisfied with the personal attention and tailoring of the package to our needs- before the wedding. I have been waiting seven months for the proofs. My phone calls and emails remain unanswered.

I think that is my biggest fear. I have seen so many horror stories about people`s wedding photos and heard more. Contact the BBB and get a report out on them. Also contact your local news broadcast so that they can report it on TV. Go to the police and file a complaint against them. They will repsond with fire under their feet.

We were so happy that our son and daughter-in-law chose a photographer that was going to give them memories that last a lifetime. However, the only memories we have are of frustration and aggravation. It is 8 months for us and we`re still trying to get workable cd`s to select our photos. We paid a large sum of money upfront (that is what they required) and fear we will have to get a lawyer. Hopefully, we`ll get it resolved. We`re still hopeful.

I can`t believe I finally found a site where other people had the same experience I did. I just got my pictures and negatives a year and 3 months after my wedding. I had to fight tooth and nail for all my negatives. Lucy`s assistant only responded to me after I told him we were taking Lucy to small claims court. Every dealing I`ve had with her is summed up in my subject, unprofessional and unorganized. I want people to know about her so that they don`t have to go through the same nightmare!

Avoid this vendor!
Still don`t have promised deliverables after 3 months. She would not make appointment on a weekend for us to get our 1st set of prints - she *did* made weekend appointment to get the job though...
Made us pay extra for postage to ship 1st set of prints. Box arrived open, contents missing / damaged. They used one 3 inch strip of Scotch tape to secure box.
Contacted her - they don`t give a care, they`ve already got our money...
Initially refused to send us the negatives & CD`s we already paid for. Finally got her to agree to send them and then had to call again to get her to actually send the items. She kept saying she was "out of town" or "going through some personal crisis". Totally unprofessional...
A relative refered us to this outfit - I don`t think they will be getting a Christmas card this year...
