Hi Lori,

What about Centerpieces that say Camp Louise on one side and maybe a "campground" type setting that goes around the hurricaned and on the other side your daughter`s name and Bat Mitzvah date. She could have votive holders or acrylic frames as favors, with different "camping" themes on them like Smores, or campfires and cabins, etc. It could really be a fun theme to do. If you would like to see some of my work please visit www.conniespersonalizedkeepsakes.com I also give a 15% disount to all party poppers.

Another idea that might be really cute as special giveaways would be the sealed jars ( I can get a smaller size than the large ones) and I can paint them also in camping themes and maybe put the fixings for smores in them or cocoa mix....etc.

Hi Lori:
I know Camp Louise well as I went there (way too many years ago) and now my daughter is a camper there. She is hoping to make circle. I also happen to be a party planner and decorator in the Baltimore area and would love to help.

We recently did a Camp Airy theme Bar Mitzvah for a client. We started the evening off by handing out unique custom imprinted laundry bags to all the campers at `check-in`. Don`t forget the visit to the nurse for a lice check and a deposit (the gift) in the bank! Then, all campers (teen guests, cousins, under 16) were assigned to a bunk for the night, while all the counslers (adults) had the night off! There were games, dancing and lots of great finger food to keep everyone busy. Tables included the canteen, Airy landmarks and an array of Camp Airy activities.

I would love to help you with the Camp Louise theme.

I`m still working on it but I`ll let you know. How many years has your daughter been going there?

Yes! Way, way back in the early 70`s. Which session does your daughter go? Mine goes the second session.
