Um,this message board is about weddings and parties and not a debate about which country is better at sports.

UMMMMMM Who gives a shit about hockey only about 10% of americans care about hockey and the olympics. I did not even know that we played against canda. It time to get a life. Did ya see anyone on the street of america cheering when we won anything NOOOOO( like ya`ll did but that`s your thang). The only thing alot of people cared about is if that guy who won the speed skating is he single or not. Sorry but you just raving about stuff America just don`t care about.

I cannot believe that someone actually took the time to post a message on a wedding site about Canada beating the US? I guess they forgot that the United States is the most powerful country in the world and Canada is just.....well Canada? Ok so you are good at Hockey big deal one thing out of a million isn`t that good!!!

I am a proud canadian. You like most other americans i know are completely obliviious to anything other than the usa. The usa is not so great after all. They invade other countries and then try to claim that they are fighting terrorism. Well, i have to tell you that your government stinks. You have a monkey for a president and are terrorists yourselves. I`m sure all the iraqi`s are so happy now that you have "freed" them from their repressed government. Now their daughters and sisters are being kidnapped and raped. They have no law and order. They have very limited hospitals. I`m sure everyone there is so happy about it. As canadians, we have the distinction of being the most accepted travelers in the world. We produce wonderful talented people who grace many of your own movie screens. We have the most beautiful scenery and allow all our people equal access to medical attention, regardless of sex, race or creed. So some people are proud that we have spawned some great hockey players. You are proud that you produce some great killers (oh, i`m sorry, soldiers). The point is, the usa is only one country in the world, and with all your economic and social problems, i would hardly call it the best or most powerful. I would call it one of the most troubled nations in the world (if not the most) who happens to have enough money to buy their way into power. Power and greatness do not go hand in hand, and until you show some semblence of knowledge about countries other than that of your birth, i wouldn`t be so free with words of praise for a country that needs to find it`s own peace.

We are a country fighting for our peace.. I see NOTHING wrong with it what so ever.. THERE was no reason for the terrorism that accured in this Country on September 11th.. SO NO The USA Is not the ONLY Country in the world who fights for its peace.. The USA Is fighting to rid the Terrorism.. BEFORE more accures..
OUR Country also allows anyone into a hospital.. Color or race.. So Im not sure where you are getting that information from...

However, this site is for weddings.. PLEASE do not bring up this type of stuff here.. I am sure you can find a message board about PEACE between countries else where...

No, your country does not allow everyone access to medical attention. If you can`t pay, you don`t get the services you may need. And no, i am not condoning the terrorist attacks on the world trade centre and the pentagon, i also believe that they were horrible, however, iraq did not orchestrate them, afghanistan did. Your country invaded another country in the name of peace and yet has brought no peace to the people of iraq. My points are mearly to the earlier post about how my country is not as "powerful" as your country. Well, if power is counted in number of countries conquered, no we are not. But if greatness is counted in the number of people helped (refugees from countries your great usa has invaded), then canada is no. 1. I was also pointing out to the earlier post how ignorant most americans are about canada as they are not too informed by the media about events in the rest of the world that do not concern the usa. This is not the fault of everyday citizans, but of the media. The original posting on this board should not have been posted as i agree, hockey has nothing to do with weddings. However, since it was posted, i see people insulting the country of my birth who have absolutely no basis for their insults. The original post said that canada beat the usa in hockey, they did. Further down, a person stated that the usa is the most powerful country in the world and that canada only has one thing to be proud of. I was simply trying to point out the ignorance of this statement. I`m not saying that the usa sucks, i`m simply stating that "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". The usa isn`t perfect by far, and its` citizans need to look at their own problems before they start chastizing others for thiers.

OK! Then I apologize... I also agree that NO COUNTRY!!! Including ours.. *USA* Is a PERFECT Country.. We all have faults some where.. I Could care less what country all of these people live in... I could care less about what the country is like.. ALL I really want is WORLD *Underlined* PEACE>.. I feel that every one deserves at least that.. BUT Since there are crazy people out there, then there is going to be NO peace... Something is going to happen.. Regardless how it is started... Shootings, DIfference between Republican and Democrats... Gangs, Racism.. Every thing.. All of these things are not a sign of Peace.. SO whether it is WAR or A RAP.. There will NEVER be PEACE in the world until all those Crazy people are locked up or just gone.. BUT there is no way of telling who is nuts and who is not..

This makes me so sick. I have NEVER said anything negative about Canada, and I pretty much believe that in EVERY country there are good people and bad people (including your precious Canada. Don`t tell me you have no crime there). So I don`t hate the people from Iraq and from Afghanistan. And I don`t think they are all terrorists. I think some are. There are also crazy bombers and such here in America. And I`m sure there are crazy Canadians. What makes me sick is that you think so much of yourself and your country, but you are as prejudiced as any American. In fact, I think you are more prejudiced. YOU called ME (an American) a terrorist. You know nothing about me, yet you know I`m a terrorist. What makes you any better than Americans who think that way about Arabs?

I think that some wonderful people have come out of Canada, and the same for the US. How narrow minded of you to think that you, simply because you were born on the opposite side of the border, are better than me. You`re not. I think it`s sad that you can`t see past borders and see people.

I just found this board today and thought how wonderful it was to have a place to ask questions and talk to people who are going through the same things I`m going through in planning my own wedding. Yeah. We`re all going through the same things here. And we`re all feeling the same nervous, giddy, excited feelings. Regardless of our countries of origin, we`re all in love, and planning our WEDDINGS. Don`t you think it`s a little funny that you are going through the exact same emotions as all of us terrorists? I won`t be posting here again. I`ll stick to the knot, where prejudiced people don`t generally accuse me of being a terrorist.

Don`t listen to the narrow minded people who posted the earlier messages. There are a lot of good people who post on here for the reasons they should- Weddings!! Don`t let the naive people posting the Anti-American messages on here scare you away. I read this and wanted to respond earlier, but I bit my tongue and felt more sorry for those uneducated souls. Most people on here are here for the right reasons and give great support and advice. So don`t let Sarah get to you, she just doesn`t know any better!
