I am looking for silk calla lilies that I can buy in bulk for my centerpieces. Does anyone know where I can find these at a reasonable price?

I`m actually using silk calla lillies for my wedding in April. I found some beautiful white long stemed ones at Walmart. You can go to any flower shop near that sells silk flowers and find them. Also, it`s not tacky to use silk flowers because some actually look real. Good Luck!!

To the Person Who Said Silk Flowers are tacky .... If I am going to do a centerpeice with a nice Vase YES SILK Flowers I will use .... At least they have something nice that they are able to place in there home .... Where as REAL flowers will die and all you are left with is a VASE .... You are the one that is Stupid

I personally do not see how silk flowers for a wedding are tacky. My daughter is having a Nov. 2006 wedding, and we are planning on using as many silks as possible. Michael`s art supply has beautiful silk flowers, as well as Walmart, and we are excited to design her centerpieces.

I am using silk callas too. I do not think it is cheap looking (also, calling the person stupid was rather childish). I found some people on Ebay who make huge sets for you. They are great and cheap. They are also nicer because the bridesmaids can keep it forever and not worry about bugs or dead flowers. Saving money is the way to go.

If you go on ebay there is a lady who has some real great bouquets for an awsome price. She did mine and they turned out great. Her store name is silkflowersandthings her email is SnowDiDaDi@aol.com She gets real busy so sometimes it takes time for her to respond but she will get to you. I love them cause My Bridesmaids and myself got to keep the bouquets and didn`t have to worry about preserving them.

Silk flowers are not tacky. Lots of brides use them in their wedding. Let`s face it, they are less expensive, allergy free and you get to keep your wedding flowers. I am a master floral designer and I specialize in silk wedding arrangements with many of them featuring calla lilies. My bouquets and arrangements are reasonably priced and tastefully done with many of them being so realistic only you would know they are silk. If I can help you out my email is sherry@mistymountainflorals.com . Best wishes on your wedding!

Hi, I am a silk wedding designer with my main flowers being callas. I have been selling on Ebay for the past 2 years as well as receiving word of mouth clients. I love to create custom sets and my pricing is very reasonable. You can look at my website for ideas, or if I can be of any assistance, please let me know how I can help. My store name is Simply Classic Creations and the site is: www.simplyclassiccreations.com

If I were to make a fashion statement at my own wedding I would never use Wal-Mart or Ebay flowers especially when there are beautiful faux, silk flowers offered today. Try Pick Your Own Bouquet (www.pyob.com) and they will provide a discounted quote for bulk orders and if they have it in stock they will sell single stems plus priority shipping for you to verify the quality and color tone before placing larger orders.

WELL... Kelly Thanks for putting a big downer on what I used for my wedding. Acutally the flowers I got off of Ebay from a lady who made really nice stuff looked great and fasionable and everyone loved them. They photographed well and I was able to use them for shadow boxes for my home with wedding photos in it. You just have to shop around. My mother in law got some great FILLER flowers from Wal Mart (I hate saying that but hey) to use for two BIG vases that we used at the church and that was over 2 years ago now and they still display beautifully in our home. Use whatever resources you can Brides to be... If it looks good to you that is what matters. The gal from Ebay made great sets all ready to go and it was so nice to not have to worry about making them from BULK orders like some do because we just didn`t have the time to make flower items on top of the vases we used at the church.
