White Bridesmaid Dresses
Has anyone ever used white bridesmaid dressses? I thought it would be elegant and I could just incorporate the color in the flowers and decor.

I imagine today everyone will tell you "It`s your wedding do what you want", but it always was recommended that only the bride wears white, not your attendants, not the MOB, not the MOG, and not even the guests. Because no one wanted to take away from the Bride.

I believe they call them "snowball",weddings and they`ve been around for ages and ages. I remember going to one when I was about 10 years old. The entire wedding party wore white, all the decorations and flowers were white. The old rules about only the bride wearing white and women guests not wearing black went out the window years ago. I don`t know if you`ve shopped for maids gowns yet, but almost all of them do come in white as well as colors. I rather like the idea of doing something different and fresh. I know a bride who plans to wear black and have her bridesmaids wear white. Weddings cost so much today and we put so much time and effort into them that I think it makes sense to do something different.

I am getting married on the beach on july 29th this year and I am having all of my bridesmaids wear white with a sash around their waist to bring in color. The groomsman are wearing white linen pants and light blue linen shirts. THe girls sashes will be in this light blue. The bride (myself ) and the groom will be wearing all white. Flowers will accent for other color. I say go ahead, I`m doing and everyone said "Are you crazy". Each bride gets a vision, so just go with it.
