Maggie Sottero Dulce Vita A-Line
I found this website just now via a search. My daughter ordered a size 12 Dolce Vita A-line in white from an authorized dealer on June 15, 2004. We were told it would be delivered in 4-6 months. No sweat, the wedding is April 23rd. We called in November and we told the dress wasn`t in. We called in December and the store said they would call the manufacturer. They called back and said they were told that they were doing inventory and the dress would be shipped after the New Year. We called the shop again last week and they said they would investigate. We were told the dress was shipped in October to another shop with the same name. From there it was either lost or sold after being shipped back to Maggie. Now we are being told it will not be delivered until around March 30th. The bridal store owner is offering us a $100 discount,free veil and alterations but we just want the dress asap. We wrote to Maggie via the website last week while the "investigation" was going on and they said the store owner had information for us and to call them. That was when we were given the date of March 30th. I don`t know if the store owner is at fault and is trying to blame the manufacturer and if Maggie Sottero is just telling me to talk to the store owner rather than bad mouthing her by telling me what really happened. Did anyone else have a bad experience with Maggie Sottero? I intend to call the U.S. CEO first thing Monday to see if we can get the order expedited. Please advise
