Renewal Etiquette

I was just married Oct 16 2004. I had a small wedding with most of the trimmings, It was nice but several things went wrong that are nagging me. I accidentally chose my husbands sisters as bridesmaids but they did nothing and didnt even give me a shower, which I was sooooooooooo looking forward to having. Also his family didnt pay a dime on the wedding so my family had to do the best we could to take care of everything so there was a lot we could not do. There were many other things as well. I just feel like I need to do it again and do it right. But how soon is too soon and is it appropriate since I did have a small wedding and didnt just go to the courthouse? Help!
