Wedding Songs
I would love to play Martina McBride`s song "In my daughter`s eyes" when my dad gives me away. Do you think this is a proper song? I don`t know if it would be ok with a WOMAN singing a song when my DAD is giving me away.

I know this isn`t answering your question directly, sorry, but in case you decide you don`t want a woman singing while your dad gives you away, I would suggest "There Goes My Life" by Kenny Chesney or "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle (there are also other renditions by Tim McGraw and some others but I haven`t heard those ones).
If you do choose to use "In My Daughter`s Eyes" I don`t think it would be a really big deal. The words are really what matter anyway. It`s your wedding, so do what you want. Maybe you could talk to your dad about it and see if he would mind having a woman singing. If he doesn`t care, and it`s the song you want, then I`d say go ahead and do it.
Good luck with whatever you decide on!
