Fat Bride!!
I am writing to complain about a few bridal salons in the NYC area and how they treat fullfigured brides. I am sick ant tired of being treated like crap cause I am not a size 2. I find the small boutiques places have been the nastiest. I would also like to give a major thumbs up to CarbWatchers (www.carbwatchers.net) They have helped me lose weight to be healthier and feel good about myself and they give brides a special goodie bag. I am trying to not wear a plus size for the wedding

I would suggest a dress maker.

Try David`s Bridal if there`s one near you. (if not, check their website) I went wedding gown shopping with a friend yesterday. She is a size 28. The people there were WONDERFUL. Not an ounce of rudeness or attitude. It was a surprisingly fun day.

My advice to you would be to NOT go to David`s Bridal. That bridal store has the worst customer service and they`re only looking out for themselves, not the customer.

My friend is also concerned about finding a "tent big enough for her ghetto booty." I had excellent service at David`s Bridal even after my fiance dumped me before I got the dress. Hang in there honey! He loves you for who you are, not your dress size!

What a load of c rap, just cause you like pigging out the world has to cater to your fat-a .ss? Full-figured? Yeah right, a full figure is 36-24-36. Don`t b itch out the bridal stores just cause you`re to fat to fit in a dress that fits frames rather then fat. Get a life you whining w .hore.

Gown shopping is going to be in my future. All of the things that these women have talked about are my worst fears. I have even lost 70 lbs in the last year and half, before I met my guy. However, reading all the ignorance and weight prejudice that have also been written here, remind me of just why we plus size girls are afraid to go to a bridal shop or grow up feel like crap all our lives. So to the previous douchebags that called her a "lard" and "jaba the hut" and told her to get married in her "moo moo", know this, we aren`t asking you to love us. Our guys adores us, they find us sexy and they can`t live without us. Can you say that there`s someone like that in your life LOSER??

Go to RK Bridal in NYC. They are wonderful! They can tell your size just by looking at you, forget the measuring tape.

If everyone was skinny it wud b a pretty boring place to live.
Sometimes big is beautiful.
I personally find that skinny ppl usually have a face like a slapped arse.
