SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM READ THIS
I posted a message a few months ago looking for a Maggie Sottero Olympia, a lady immediately contacted me and said she could get me this dress for $575 with free shoes and veil, the deal sounded so great so I was hooked. She gave me a toll free number (Which by the way you can’t trace to find the owner on a toll free number). After she asked for the money responses became few and far between, she always had an excuse for everything, one day that you talk to “her” her name was Melody, the next it was a different name but she had the excuse that was her partner or sister or whatever the excuse was that day. She gave me an address in Philadelphia, however once I suggested a friend of mine who lives near by come visit and check out the dress I haven’t heard from her since. I don’t know what this lady has going on for sure but we have found all sorts of complaints all over the internet about her, she changes her e-mail whenever a new complaint comes out so here is all the information I have about her and hopefully this can help anyone avoid a bad situation.
This is the address she gave me:
Bridal Elegance
242 Lehigh Ave.
Philadelphia, PA 19101
Second Address she gave me:
310 Euclid Place
Philadelphia, PA
Her Toll Free Number: 1-866-455-6259
Her E-mail: BridalElegnce@aol.com
Her number from my caller ID: 402-517-9978 (Pre-paid service so you can’t call it and when I looked it up, the service said it was an Omaha, NE based number)
Another number from my caller ID: 301-790-1604
The Address for this number is:
Row, James
34 S Mulberry St.
Hagerstown, MD 21740
(Funny how her phone number is in MD and the address she gave me is in PA, I guess she didn’t realize people could look it up)
Second Address for the number:
Row, James and Melody
30 Garlinger Ave.
Hagerstown, MD 21740
This is just information I have, I don’t know for sure what this lady is up to but hopefully with this information you can make an informed decision.

I think it is 2-3 years max sentence. I hope someone gets her!! What a miserable excuse for a human being she is!! She could have easily ruined my wedding day if I had not seen this post when I did. I was able to do a chargeback and get my $ back. Thanks again, N, for posting this. You may have very well made the difference between a very memorable day for me and a complete nightmare. Best of luck to everyone, I hope you all have beautiful weddings!!

Well there isn`t one - she knows what she is doing. And by the way, she reads this site everyday. As long as she returns the money, she is technically not committing a crime. The fact that she does not deliver her goods on time only represents poor business practice and therefore is not considered as a criminal offence but simply a civil offence. The fact that most of her clients are out side of MD also works in her favor. The victims can look into a minimal of 3 trials (should the victims decide to sue her) which is realistically impossible for most of us. One`s best bet is to contact the police and have them "warn" her directly. Remember she does not want to get caught. If she does NOT return the money then it will be considered as a criminal case and that could get her into a lot of problems. She does not want that (in spite of what she has done to so many people). Most likely she will return the money after she is gwarnedh by the police. However, I must say getting a full refund from her is like pulling teeth. She will say she will send a certified check (which will not work for victims abroad. It also delays the entire process and comes with the risk of bouncing). As we know she has many different companies and may choose to return the money using a different company name which could also delay the process as credit cards do not accept refunds that come through different company names.

I`m not sure if this will help a little.
You can go to website: http://ripoffreport.com/ to report her name, business name...
You should check with this website before we buy goods from unknown online vendors.

Be careful ladies, my friend got banned by Party Pop for posting about these scam artists and how people could contact them. Kinda tells you who`s side Party Pop is on.

I contacted Party Pop before I placed an order with Melody Row. I called Party Pop and ask if Melody Row`s operations were legitimate.
I talked with a lady named "Sandra" or something similar to that name. She said she had only been with Party Pop for 1 or 2 months or so (I called around August 2004). She said that all Party Pop listed retailers (and Melody Row`s Fairy Tale Weddings and More was listed at the time) were legitimate that and that Party Pop totally fully supported them.
I have been totally ripped off by Melody Row. I contacted Party Pop on 2 occasions after the fiasco but have heard absolutely nothing from them. I would like an explanation from Party Pop. I don`t thing they realize how their site has become the breading house of scams and fraud that targets brides.
