Hello. I have no idea why the people who responded to your post have so much hatred and ugliness in their hearts. You are doing the best you can to take care of your family in your situation and their replies are ignorant and should simply be ignored.

Go to www.freecycle.org and find a freecycle board for your local area. There you will find folks who choose to give away things they need no longer in order to recycle them to someone who can use them, and to do their part to keep from filling the landfills. You can post wanted ads and giveaway ads.

I wish that I could help you. I certainly know what kind of position you are in. My father has a bad heart condition and cannot work (everytime he tries to work his heart starts racing again and he ends up having to get it shocked back into rhythm) and my mom works hard but doesn`t make much. It is hard to even make ends meet let alone pay for a wedding. My parents are helping me out some, but my wedding is certainly going to be low-budget (less than $2000 total), but still very nice and everything i could hope for. Some of things i`ve found helpful is using your resources-friends and family, anything they can do to help is always greatly appreciated. A good friend of my family is going to do the food for my wedding for a about $300. I found a great reception site for $250. The wedding ceremony will be in a park nearby. Really look around, maybe you have a family member or friend with a large property that you could hold the wedding at, that would be great for a luau theme. You could do traditional somoan barbeque for the food for the reception. One thing I`ve learned is that ebay is the budget bride`s best friend! I got my $800 wedding dress for $100 on ebay and it fits great. I`ve seen many for even less. I got my groom`s attire, my bridesmaids attire and ring bearer attire and all of that kind of stuff on ebay. I`ve also found fabric for table runners and so many other things. Basically anything you need you can find on ebay and in your price range. Check out craft stores for sales on wedding stuff and look into fake flowers, they can look really nice and you`ll be able to get a lot for a little money. Since you`re doing a luau theme you might also check out oriental trading (just google it to find the website) they have tons of that stuff in bulk at good prices. Also you might try craigs list and i would definitely go to google and search fire your wedding planner. You`ll find a site that you can sign up for a free email that will give you tons of ideas on how to save money on your wedding. Hopefully this helps you out some. I wish you the best of luck!
